1. Scope and privacy approach

This policy applies to the Focus Tomato Android app. The current version has no account registration, advertising, analytics, cloud synchronization, Internet permission, or third-party SDK. We do not collect or upload personal information to a developer-operated server.

2. Data processed on your device

To provide timers and reminders, the app stores the task text you enter, the active timer type and end time, your sound or vibration preference, and consent or permission-guidance status. This data remains in the app's private storage and is used only to run and restore timers and remember your settings.

The app does not access contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos, call logs, SMS, calendar, clipboard, phone number, installed app list, device identifiers, or advertising identifiers.

3. Permissions and system capabilities

Notifications show an active timer and its finished reminder, including the Stop Alert action. Exact alarms allow a timer started by you to finish on time while the screen is off or the app is in the background. Full-screen alerts show the finished-timer screen on the lock screen. A foreground service and wake lock operate only for an active user-started timer or briefly while its alert is active. Vibration is used only when selected. Startup access restores an unfinished timer after a device restart or app update. Optional battery-optimization and manufacturer background settings can reduce reminder delays. The system alarm channel supplies sound, and Focus Tomato does not alert while Do Not Disturb is active.

4. Silent and background processing

When there is no active timer or alert started by you, the app does not process personal information while idle or in the background. During an active timer it processes only locally stored task text, timer type, end time, and alert preference to maintain the countdown, restore it after a restart or update, and trigger the reminder. This processing is limited to reading and writing the app's private storage; nothing is uploaded or shared.

5. Sharing, third parties, and advertising

The current version does not sell, share, transfer, or publicly disclose your data. It contains no advertising, analytics, social login, payment, targeted recommendation, or other third-party SDK. It does not launch or cause other apps to launch. Android and your device manufacturer handle system permission and notification settings under their own terms.

6. Retention, deletion, and security

Data stays in protected app-private storage until it is overwritten, you clear the app's storage, or you uninstall the app. Android app backup is disabled. Because the app does not transmit data, the developer keeps no cloud copy. Please avoid entering sensitive personal information in task text.

7. Children

Focus Tomato is a general productivity tool and is not designed specifically for children. It does not knowingly collect children's personal information. A parent or guardian should supervise a child's use where required.

8. Your choices and rights

You may decline optional access, change notification or alarm access in Android settings, edit task text, clear app storage, or uninstall the app. Clearing storage or uninstalling deletes all locally stored app data. For a privacy question or request, contact 5003510@qq.com.

9. Policy changes

If the app's functions or data practices change, we will update this policy and the policy shown in the app and on distribution platforms before the change takes effect. Material changes will be presented prominently where required.
